Dr. Judith Mathewson

About Me

Is your faith the foundation of your relationships and life? Do you need support as you find your way through the uncertainty, stress, and trauma of this virus and in the world, financial instability, and daily schedule? I am Judith Mathewson, PhD, Licensed Professional Counselor (in Arkansas and Alaska) and Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.

I would love to share how God's love and grace has never failed, even in your darkest hour. Your strengths, character, and abilities are all blessings just waiting to blossom. You are loved more than you'll ever know because God's got this -- the problems, the hurt, and pain - and will turn them into your blessings. We can work on healthy boundaries and faith-based support as you begin to heal from past unhealthy events. God's not done with you yet!

I look forward to guiding you through challenges and victories. In this time of stress and uncertainty, we can explore your spiritual, emotional, and intellectual strengths and how your faith will help you develop into the person you are blessed to become.

Thank you.

To your health and happiness,
Judith Mathewson, PhD, LPC, LMFT

Dr. Mathewson has been an integral part to making it through the toughest time of my life.

Dr. Mathewson has been a great confidant for me over the past several months - we do weekly check-ins, and it has been a huge help for my mental health to have a good person to listen and offer wisdom and insight as I experience the "ups and downs" that life continues to throw my way. I highly recommend Dr. Mathewson for those looking for a good listener, and I am planning to continue working with her for as long as possible!
