I am a licensed social worker in Arizona, Oregon, and New Mexico with 11 years of experience. I have worked with teens, families and the elder population with a wide range of concerns including feelings related to a terminal disease, grief and loss, as well as relationship struggles. I have helped many families with parenting strategies and parent-child issues and boundaries. My experience in hospice has afforded many years of assisting with grief and loss as well as coping with terminal illnesses and the losses and changes that ensue.
I walk alongside my clients during their journey providing strength based approaches. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral, client centered, solution focused, interpersonal, humanistic and mindfulness. My counseling style is calm and compassionate, taking a holistic view without judgement. Each walk of life is different and my counseling will reflect your goals and needs as an individual.
Recognizing that you are not alone in your journey is key. Our plans have been written for us, but it is our task to seek understanding and peace. When you are ready to seek peace in your journey, I am here to provide guidance and support.
