About Me

Hi there! I am a licensed psychologist and I have been blessed to be a Christian since a young age. My relationship with God has gone through many different seasons in life, but I am confident and humbled that He has been beside me through it all. I received my Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from Biola University, in a clinical psychology program that equipped me to integrate the practice of psychology with the Christian faith. Since graduating, I have been privileged to work in settings with diverse client populations and my clients have sought help for a large variety of reasons. I have particular specialties in working with people who struggle with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, problems with relationships, and grief/loss. I have been trained in multiple therapy modalities, but my main approach to therapy is attachment-based. We are created to be relational beings, and we can only grow and mature as humans in the midst of healthy, supportive relationships. I believe therapy is one of those relationships that can inspire and promote healthy growth.

In addition to relationships with other people, I believe we have a need for a close relationship with God. True wholeness is found when we are in relationship with our Creator. For many Christians, it is important that their therapist understand their faith and the importance it plays in their daily life. Many people want to be able to incorporate their faith into their therapeutic work. I understand and value that desire. I am honored to be able to work as a Christian therapist, to be entrusted with your life stories, to deepen faith, to heal wounds, to walk with you in difficult times and celebrate with you the joys of life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and learn about me. If you think we may be a good fit together, please feel free to request to begin working with me.
