About me
Change is hard, but through faith in God it is possible! I am here to help you reach your goals and encourage a healthier and more motivated you.
My name is Kemi Ayanfalu, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in California with over 8 years of experience. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I have worked with faith oriented clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, behavioral challenges, abandonment, rejection, grief, generational trauma, suicidal or homicidal ideations.
Trauma impacts overall functioning. Using my strong background in trauma informed care, I have created a counseling style that is genuine, individualistic, and encouraging. In session we will create a safe place to express, change and grow. My approach combines client centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution- focused therapy. My dedicated time with you will assist in identifying treatment goals, develop an individualized treatment plan that will provide you with the healthy skills to reach your full potential.
I cannot wait for us to start working together!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kemi Ayanfalu . We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
My therapist listens to what I am saying with a caring approach. It has been hard to find a therapist that can relate to the situation I've encountered with a therapeutic approach.
