Hello! I’m Kendall. I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas with 15 years of social work experience. I am also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor and have almost 10 years of addiction medicine experience. I have worked with clients who’ve experienced a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, combat and non-combat related trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and more.
My style is client-centered and strengths-based, meaning I will be your support and guide as you establish the goals that fit your needs and lifestyle, building upon the many strengths you already possess. I am skilled in several types of treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, family systems, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-related therapies.
I became saved at 16 years old and have experienced the blessing of peace God can provide when we trust in Him. I have personally experienced, as well as assisted many others who have experienced, the drastic changes that can occur in our lives when we give our problems and concerns over to God.
I know that it is not easy making that first step of reaching out for help, and you’ve already shown the courage to do so! I commit to providing the support you need throughout each step of your journey. I am excited and look forward to working with you!!

She has life experience applicable to my line of work and honestly the only counselor I have ever actually wanted to talk to vs mandatory post incident debriefing. Active listening is not an easy skill. Most people listen to respond vs hear the message. I have free services available through my employer but prefer this. I have always felt that counseling was only in place to ensure "fit for duty" not actually about "me". Alright you answered the questions appropriately get back out there! It is nice to have a safe place to communicate how I feel and express my faith without fear of judgment. Thank you Kendall!
