About Me

Hey there!

If you are reading this, congratulations! You have taken a wonderful first step towards hope, health and self care!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the Mental Health field in various capacities for 7 years in a variety of settings---the last 3.5 as a counselor licensed by the state of Arkansas. This variety of experience has given me the opportunity to gain valuable skills to help others reach their goals and full potential. Some of my areas of most experience are Depression, Anxiety, Life Changes, and Relationships---though I have also worked with anger management, self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma, sexual issues, etc. I am a life long Christian who values the importance of faith in the therapeutic approach as I believe God is the Great Physician. I truly believe He has placed me (and everyone) on Earth to help others for His ultimate purpose, and for me that is via counseling.

In that counseling setting, I love tailoring my approaches to each individuals wants and needs. I work under a couple of mottos for how I do therapy. One is "Work Hard, Play Hard" by which I mean, if you work hard in therapy, you will not only reap the results of your labor, but also therapy can be fun-- it doesn't have to be boring--and I do my best to keep it this way, while being productive. The other is "You are the expert on yourself"-- I like to let the client take the lead because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what I want, it matters what you want and I would love to help you get there!

I look forward to learning more about you and helping you take the steps to a better you!

Kendyl has been awesome, understanding, and helpful. I appreciate how she explains things to me in a way I can understand and agree with.
