About me

Hey there!

If you are reading this, congratulations! You have taken a wonderful first step towards hope, health and self care!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the Mental Health field in various capacities for 8 years in a variety of settings---the last 6 as a counselor licensed by the states of Arkansas, Missouri, and North Dakota. I have also recently added additional states due to COVID-19 emergency licensing to help states in demand of mental health services. This variety of experience has given me the opportunity to gain valuable skills to help others reach their goals and full potential. Some of my areas of most experience are Depression, Anxiety, Life Changes, and Relationships---though I have also worked with anger management, mood disorders, self-esteem, trauma issues, etc.

I am also an ally and affirming provider for individuals who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

We all know at times that life has a way of getting us down, throwing us curveballs, or leaving us feeling broken. Whether it is issues from day-to-day life, or issues from past traumas-- it can truly weigh us down. It is my mission to take this journey alongside you, help you carry that load, and find the best way for you to surrender it in a healthy and therapeutic manner.

My ultimate goal is to help you work towards the best version of yourself and get you to a place that you can live a more full and healthy life- free of burdens.

I look forward to learning more about you soon and helping you take the steps to a better you!

Kendyl is a really awesome therapist who has also become a good friend. She is open and honest with her clients and is very sincerely interested in their growth and success, while also being vulnerable and discussing her own life to strengthen the relationship and ensure that it is a safe place to discuss things.

I have tried traditional therapy and online therapy through two other counseling services. Never have I had such great rapport as I have found Kendyl. Whether we are talking about small daily concerns or major childhood traumas that I am horrified to share with another human being, Kendyl is always compassionate. She never makes me feel judged. The conversations that I have with Kendyl have been so helpful that I referred my friends to BetterHelp.
