About Me

I enjoy every opportunity I have to work with the variety of clients this profession brings but my great joy is working with Christians. There is a unique reassurances that comes with sharing a common faith. God has been an every present help for me in times of need. I’ve walked with Him closely through dark times in my life and I’ve struggled to hold on to a dying faith. I have been seasoned in my faith which helps me no be moved by fear or doubt. I know the power of prayer.
If you would like to work through the current struggles in your life with a faith based therapist that can also bring the wisdom of clinical skills. I would be honored to serve you. I hold a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Psychology and Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. I achieved my clinical licensing through supervision with the Department of Mental Health. I have therapeutic experience with all age ranges, from young children to seniors. I have clinical experience with groups, families, couples, as well as individuals. I am skilled to work with behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD and relationship concerns as well as other mental health symptoms and life stressors.

It's been only a few sessions, but working with Kerri has already lifted the weight of what I was bearing off of my chest. There's still work to be done and progress to be made, but I'm looking forward to working with her for as long as it takes!
