Counseling can be scary for many people, but you've made the right decision in taking this first step. I am here to listen, support and encourage you along this journey. You are not alone here. I, too, have experienced the uncertainty of meeting a counselor for the first time. I wondered if it would really help me. Perhaps that’s how you’re feeling. I encourage you to give it a try. Besides, what do you have to lose? I look forward to taking this journey with you. I'm also available to receive international clients.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas with over 16 years of experience. Many couples I work with have a wide range of concerns including a lack of communication, a lack of intimacy, depression, anxiety, anger management, parenting issues, and career challenges. I have also worked with military personnel and their families.
At the age of 9, I accepted Jesus as the Lord and Savior of my life. My faith has allowed me to make it through some of the most difficult times. Having been in a therapist's office as a client before, I understand how difficult it can be to seek professional help. Sometimes, I felt as though I could just pray the issues away, but I came to realize that God created counselors to assist us in finding the direction we may need, during difficult times. I'm now paying it forward as a counselor who realizes the importance of doing your personal work. I want to help you do the work required to change your current circumstances.
I specialize in depression, anger management, relationship issues, stress and anxiety, and grief and loss, by incorporating a combination of Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic counseling.
My personal philosophy on incorporating my faith into my counseling practice is that Job suffered loss and the destruction of everything he owned, but he still believed and trusted God. Having a foundation built on faith, hope and love allows us to see the sun shine, even on cloudy days. Hope provides purpose, which is what God brings into each of our lives. When you work towards improving and changing the things that are necessary for growth, you can be successful in counseling.
My favorite scripture is 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
I encourage you to always search for what is good, even in a difficult situation. When you are ready to take the first step towards change, I will walk with you!
- Stress, Anxiety
- Relationship issues
- Family conflicts
I also have experience in LGBT, Trauma and abuse, Intimacy-related issues, Parenting issues, Anger management, Self esteem, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder

Dr. Keith is kind, compassionate and speaks truth in love. She routinely checks in with me if she hasn't heard from me. She responds quickly to messages and is so encouraging. I am very grateful for her counsel.

Dr. Keith has been very accommodating for me, The few sessions have helped me focus on myself and my concerns.
I enjoy working with Dr. Keith. She is a terrific counselor. She is very understanding. She is like talking to a mother who is loving, kind, and not judgmental. I feel free to tell her anything and everything. Sometimes when I am clearly upset and just want to rant on she is there to listens. She always answers me right away. She makes me feel like I am her only client. She always makes time for me. My only problem I have is most of her live sessions are during times I can't make it. But I enjoy just being able to write to her anytime, anywhere. She is truly a blessing.
