Hello. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have been working in Private Practice since 2009 and a clinician for over 15 years. I come from a Cognitive Behavioral approach, which means I like to look at a person's thought processes and behaviors. My job is to help you to understand why you do what you do and think what you think. And then empower you to make the decision to either make changes to those thoughts/behaviors or not. My job is not to tell you how to live your life, but rather empower you to live the life that you choose to live, to its fullest. Jesus said He has come to give us life in abundance. I desire to help you find your abundance and live it out to the fullest extent. Sometimes there are roadblocks that stand in the way, preventing us from living out our highest potential. I feel honored when someone affords me the opportunity to walk along side of them. I have the utmost respect for those who take on the challenge of change. Change is not easy, and it is not comfortable. But in the end, it is worth the hard work, the fear, and enduring the uncomfortable feeling that you will experience in order to catapult you to a new you.
I am compassionate; honoring all that you have been through and validating your life experiences; I am a tool box, ready to give you therapeutic tools to help you build your life the way you desire it to be: I am a listener, to remind you that what you have to say, what you feel and what you think are important; I am a cheerleader to cheer you on and encourage you to never give up even though the road can be burdensome and overwhelming at times; I am a Christian, seeking God's wisdom to be able to impart wisdom, provide insight and give love and acceptance that is beyond myself.
I will walk beside you in this journey. I believe your pace is the right pace for you. I will challenge you along the way and will encourage you to the best of my ability to help you achieve all that you choose to achieve emotionally for yourself. I can utilize scripture if that is what works best for you, otherwise, I ask Jesus every day to help me to die to myself and rise to him so that I may be in the foreshadows and He be in front, providing guidance and wisdom beyond my own understanding. You are His children, I am a vessel He uses to help you find peace beyond all understanding. I look forward to entering this journey with you.

She is awesome. She challenges my thinking and helps me understand my thoughts.
I would highly recommend Kimberly Navarro. She has helped me take my first steps in this healing journey. From the very first session she knew exactly what to target first, she has encouraged me, checked up on me whenever I would take a day or two to respond. I could not have gotten through what I have without her help, wisdom, and insight. She truly cares for you and will do whatever it takes to help you. So grateful for her.
I worked with Kim for over 3 months on faithful counseling. She made me feel very comfortable right from the start and was able to understand my struggles immediately. You can tell that she really cares about her clients and is very passionate about her work as a therapist. I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress with her insights, wisdom, and love for her clients. She was also able to help me reconcile and integrate issues around my faith and life in general. I’m so thankful that my time with her has set my life on a new trajectory! Thank you, Kim!
My experience with Kimberly Navarro has been wonderful. She has been exactly what I needed for this time in my life. She is kind, knowledgable and asks insightful questions that I would not have thought of on my own. I would recommend her to anyone! :)
