About Me

Hello, my name is Kristine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field and I truly love what I do! I am dedicated to assisting children, adults, couples and families in their efforts to address past and current challenges, utilize their intrinsic strengths, resources and faith to create happy, fulfilling relationships and lives.

My therapeutic style is warm, open, forthright, honest and supportive. I consider myself to still be young, but active in my spiritual journey. The dedication I have for helping others started as a young child and has never waned. I believe this is because I was called to do this work by God. I believe it is through God’s gifts, that I am able to easily build honest, trusting relationships with those who are struggling in a therapeutic, insightful, intuitive manner. I blend a practical understanding of scripture with various clinical approaches to encourage empowerment, hope and healing. I allow the client to decide the level of spiritual guidance.

The following three biblical verses resonate with me:

1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Proverbs 11:25 A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

The foundation of my clinical practice is a strong respect for the wide range of cultural, psychological, and spiritual histories people possess. I utilize interventions that support trauma informed care approaches incorporating the mind/body/spirit connection to help you be healthier spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. I am experienced in treating a wide variety of issues including trauma such as abuse and neglect, self-injurious or suicidal thoughts and behaviors, marital/couple issues, co-parenting issues, family challenges, focus/attention challenges, mood disorders, depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, grief and loss, sexual abuse and life challenges.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to be invited in to someone’s life during their difficult times. When things become challenging, we can lose sight of who we are and the strengths that are within us. It takes a great deal of courage to reach out for help. I look forward to working with you!

She is open and gives counseling through God's Word! It's not just an opinion with her. It's facts that she is giving based on Godly principles. I truly care about Kristine and her influence and knows that she cares about me. I thank God she came into my life!

I know that giving all excellent ratings is a 'red flag', but I genuinely admire Kristine and what she's done for me so far. I also really love this app and the opportunity to receive counseling this way, and in a manner that follows my beliefs.
