About Me
I graduated from a Lutheran High School and completed the first four of my 12 years in higher education at Lutheran collages, where I earned an AS degree. My education continued at Big Ten and state universities for my Bachelor and Master's degrees before completing my doctoral studies in clinical psychology at a Professional School.
I have a broad range of both administrative and clinical work experience at Lutheran church/school, a State psychiatric hospital, nursing homes, a private psychiatric hospital, a County jail, community mental health centers, and private practices. I have managed contracts and provided services through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Throughout my life I have been active in worship and Bible study both as a student and teacher. I continue to grow in my own faith. While not exclusively a faith-based counselor. I am very comfortable with clients who want to address their spiritual concerns as I recognize the essential importance of one's faith in how one lives.
