Life is full of opportunities, challenges and stressors. As Christians, we can take solace knowing that God will never leave or forsake us (see Deuteronomy 31:6) and that God has a plan for our lives (See Jeremiah 29:11). But sometimes we find ourselves facing a storm that is so overwhelming that it is hard to keep our eyes on Jesus. Other times, we face an impasse where we cannot decide which path is the right one as we chart off into unfamiliar territory. In these times, it can help to have someone to come stand beside us as we navigate these events whether they are familiar storms or unchartered waters. Congratulations on taking the first step to find the therapist that will prayerfully be with you for this journey!

My counseling approach is integrative and draws from person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy to meet the specific needs and preferences of my clients. I also incorporate techniques from play therapy, art therapy and trauma focused therapy. As a Christian who is also a counselor, I am also happy to incorporate prayer and the Bible into the sessions as you chose, and will pray for you as you seek God’s help and will.
