About Me
There is hope for your anxiety and depression. Are you looking for someone to talk with about things in your life that don't feel right without being judged? I would be honored to be on this journey with you and to begin the process of change for a better life for you. It is important that you be on this journey with someone you feel comfortable with so that you may find the peace inside of you to be complete. We will approach our time together from a spiritual, Christ centered foundation. I believe that growing your relationship with Christ can move you beyond barriers and into possibilities for your life. I have had the pleasure of working with many people as they heal their lives and learn to love themselves during this process. I believe if nothing changes, nothing changes, but if we begin to make small changes, these can heal our lives and help us to be whole. I would like to share with you the hope you have in Christ. We can do nothing without him but we can do anything through him. All things are possible when you bring him into your problems and allow his work in your life and know that you are not alone in your difficult situation. You can receive his healing because of your faith in him. Because of knowing who you are in him you can go boldly to him and ask for his blessings in your life that he wishes for you, to live a whole life. This opportunity is available to you and I am honored to guide you on this journey.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Lori Whatley. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Dr. Whatley was crucial to my recovery for so many years! She helped me understand my sexual addiction and also take practical steps to begin and continue in my recovery. She always had so much positive energy that no matter what was happening, my meetings with her were a big part of keeping on track and continuing recovery.
I really appreciate Dr. Lori's help. Always pleasant and helpful.
Lori listens and helps me in that she provides me with tools and resources to work through past traumas. She is amazing!
Dr. Whatley is very supportive and understanding. She listens carefully and provides advice that best suits. It is early stage for me so far but I definitely feel better already.
Lori is a great therapist. I've found that the more she gets to know me the more she's able to pin point the areas I struggle with and how to find a way out. I always feel better after I talk to her because she makes me feel safe with her. She's above the problem and in that way helps me to see that it's not such a big deal. My life has become a lot better since talking to her regularly.
Dr. Whatley is wonderful. She is knowledgeable. She listens. She calls me out when I need to be (and she knows I can handle it). She is the best thing that has happened to me in my health journey. Thank you, thank you.
Dr. Whatley is an incredible person and very knowledgable. She is kind and has patience, as well as understands my situation. Dr. Whatley also makes me feel as though I am her only client and that makes me feel as though I matter.
Lori is comforting, She is very knowledgable and answers in a timely manner. She is great to talk to on the phone.
Dr Whatley is equipped to offer fast, timely and effective therapy. I was astonished at her timely responses and her supportive and thoughtful technique.
Dr. Whatley takes the time to get to know me and responds in a genuine manner. Her support has meant the world to me and I’m looking forward to working with her more in the future.
I just adore her. She's so compassionate and I feel like she truly wants to help me. I have seen counselors face-to-face in their office and my experiences have been that they were kind of cold and they did not initiate conversation with me. Sometimes it's hard for me to open up and Dr. Whatley is very good about asking me questions that make me stop and think and then it turns into a full conversation. She's wonderful
Dr. Lori was able to swiftly identify key issues and problem-solving in a respectful yet efficient manner. I highly respect her expertise, and kindness.
She's very friendly and supportive.
I have found in Lori someone who is incredibly empathetic, knowledgeable and spirit-led. She's helped me face some tough areas in my life and encouraged me to take the steps to recovery I needed to take. I very highly recommend her!!!
Lori is an insightful counselor.
Lori is a such an awesome counselor and a wonderful blessing. She has entered at such a difficult time in my life and has been able to provide the guidance, comfort, patience and listening ear I've really needed. She applies both spiritual and secular knowledge in a very practical and tangible way. I never feel judged or ashamed of my feelings. I truly feel like with her that I'm not alone in my journey but I'm also given the tools to be self sufficient. I truly appreciate my time with her.
Lori was lovely and available. She would respond to me very quickly and made me feel hugged and heard. Thank you.
I have only had one session with Lori, but it was a good session and she was able to get to the core issues quickly.
Lori is a wonderful, kind and caring person with a gentle Christ-like heart. She checks in regularly and asks though-provoking questions. There is absolutely no judgement from her - in fact quite the opposite. I feel completely loved and accepted just as I am with Lori. She is a treasure.
Very happy with Lori. Very encouraging and good ideas that help me think things through.
Confiding in Lori has been exactly what my soul needed. Just confessing sin and working through areas of frustration has helped me to think more clearly about why I do things and how to remove certain behaviors from my life. She is caring and receptive.
