About me
In high school, a David Wilkerson crusade helped open up my heart to Jesus. As a young adult, I completed a course on Spiritual Growth and Inner Healing; while also working on my undergraduate degree in Psychology. The course offered the perspective that any issues of our lives could be found and closely examined in the light of Biblical passages. This was more than the simple "what's right, what's wrong" about our lives, but a deeper look at the emotions and relationships of the persons who inhabit the scriptures. I earned my MA in Counseling while working also at the local mental health center. That gave me a position of grounding academia in 'real world' observation and practice. As an adult, I was blessed with the opportunity to have work experiences with Christian Counseling, Inc. and Family Life Counseling & Educational Center that
allowed me to couple my professional aspirations as a licensed counselor within a faith based environment.
