Each person is unique, and born to contribute specific endowed gifts to their larger world. The Creator of all persons informs us that we are valuable. Each of us is loved, and each of us is forgiven and able to move forward with full confidence that we are contributing members of the Kingdom of God on earth.
People can glimpse the goodness of God simply by being touched with His light in their lives. Yet, the darkness of depression and the confusion of anxiety can make a person feel far from their Creator and Lord. The truth that is proclaimed in Psalms 46 counteracts our isolation. It reassures us that "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble". It goes on to address fear, "though the earth give way, though the waters roar and foam". Take a deep breath and be prepared for the reassurance of God as a Refuge. God is living water. He cleanses, purifies, and keeps His promises.
Based on these assurance s I feel fully confident that I represent God's power and healing in my work. I have seen people triumph over hopelessness and gain courage during the process of therapy. I am thrilled to work with anyone who is spiritually hungry while maintaining objectivity regarding the need for physical or emotional intervention. I am informed by my faith, and work with individuals and families from the balance that I enjoy because I, too, am a precious and valued child of God.

Marie is a jewel! I'm blessed to have found her. She's knowledgeable, patient, kind, understanding and we relate. I needed someone, that I could speak to, and hear faith-based counsel - Marie was all that and more! She's also insightful about life topics, that I needed her advice on and she has helped me in more ways than I can count. She gave me new language, to replace the old ways I used to think about myself, and for that I'll be forever grateful!
