I have a private practice in Arlington, Texas. I offer consulting, advising and education for families as well as businesses working with children and families. I present each client with a place to be seen, heard and understood. My practice focuses on clients’ needs and concerns, so a variety of modalities are utilized with cognitive behavioral therapy being primary. During the initial visit, clients can expect time spent discussing an overview of therapeutic expectations, and a short intake of what prompted the search for services.
As a practitioner, my goal is to help clients’ see themselves differently and in so doing experience life more favorably. I share my passion and interest in helping develop stronger families by partnering with clients as a resource that serves clients with a focus on strengthening individuals that make up families and communities. I think education is essential to effective decision making, so psycho-education is a big part of my service to clients.
Going forward, it is important for me to reiterate that psychotherapy is a process. My role is to help you see yourself differently during this time of transition. What you feel and think is important to your worldview. Finding the words to express those thoughts and feelings may cause you to feel anxious, sad or not quite yourself. I understand the challenge of making the “stuff” in our lives make sense. When you’re ready, let’s talk.
