About me

My name is Renee Kuhn and I am a LPC in Arkansas and Louisiana. I obtained my counseling degree at Louisiana Tech University with an emphasis in children, youth, and families. My practicum was in the school system and my internships were a psychiatric hospital and a hospice agency.

I have been practicing for over 15 years. My experience is working with children, teens and adults for a variety of reason from anxiety, depression, co-parenting, family conflict, relationship concerns, severe mental health concerns, trauma, abuse and addictions.

My therapy style is warm, non- judgmental and direct. I identify as a Christian and have incorporated my beliefs and faith into my practice. I
encourage you to share your thoughts and feelings about your experiences without fear or judgement. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy including, behavioral, holistic, CBT, brief solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

It is important to acknowledge that struggles can get real, real fast. Having a neutral person to talk to outside of your immediate circle can be helpful and provide you with that extra layer of privacy and creating a safe space to process concerns. Healing is possible and I would be grateful to support you in creating a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Martha is a clear minded, straight talking yet empathetic counselor, with a strong biblical understanding. She is willing to reschedule missed appointments as needed. I value her feedback.

Martha listens and teaches in a way that I can understand. Never any judgment or guilty feelings about choices I’m making!

Just letting you know that I do not have a problem with Martha. My problem is with how you guys run your business: hard to get in touch, hard to get a response, feeling sometimes that you are A little too involved in our work. For instance, letting me know immediately that she has sent me a message which I understand you feel responsible to do and I guess that’s OK.

Work with me!
