About me
My name is Melissa Gramigna and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my licensure in 2001 and I have worked with many mental health issues to include working many Christians that deal with issues that are not wanting to be talked about to other Christians due to be feeling judged, having not enough faith, etc. I believe that there are times when we all may need someone to talk to and that is not a bad thing. It warms my heart to encounter those who are motivated for change as that is the very catalyst to change. I will put my best foot forward to ensure a positive experience to aid in that change.
I am a counselor with a servant's heart and driven by my passion to serve others, I use a personable approach to provide sound, solution-focused counseling with a combination of approaches that will be catered to your individual needs; cognitive-behavioral strategies, acceptance and commitment principles, mindfulness exercises, existential theory, a psychodynamic understanding of the development of problems, and other approaches that may be most useful.
