Hello. My name is Monica Duncan and I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years. I understand that it takes courage to engage in a therapeutic experience. So, kudos to you for taking time to invest in yourself, your family and/or other relationships. Each session is designed to affirm your courage and is customized to support you in the achievement of your goals. I utilize strategies and tools that identify your strengths and optimizes your personal growth. My approach is to foster a process that is safe, non-judgmental, empathetic and solution-focused.
It is important to acknowledge that therapy is a collaborative process. We work together to identify a plan that leads to your desired outcomes. It is also important to understand that change takes persistence and time. It will require trust, honesty, diligence, and patience. I am dedicated to the success of all my clients and will encourage and support you through all phases of the work.
