Hello, my name is Dr. Nancy Morritt, a Licensed Professional Counselor and I would like to welcome you and commend you for making this decision to better your life. I have 25 years experience in private practice working with both children and adults in a variety of areas, some of which include depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse related issues, relationship issues and parenting concerns. I also spent four years working with active duty military personnel on military bases across the United States and overseas. While I consider myself a Christian and I believe in God and in Jesus Christ as my Savior, I struggle with the judgment that is often associated with Christians. I find many people may not want a Christian counselor because they believe they will be judged or looked down upon. I believe in the love, grace and forgiveness from God that is given to us in the name of Jesus in the New Testament and I want to assure you that I will not judge. I view counseling as a collaboration between client and therapist and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important to the overall healing process. As your therapist I will offer to you a safe place where you feel heard, respected and understood, but also feel challenged to make the changes and growth you desire. Regardless of what you are dealing with I hope you find this to be a warm, spiritual, nonjudgmental and nurturing environment. It is my desire to walk this journey with you and make your therapeutic process one that is worthwhile and valuable to you during each step of your healing process.

Dr. Morritt is very professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. She has very quickly grasped the issues I have presented her with and has always been able to offer effective solutions. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
She’s very approachable. Remembers things you’ve told her. She’s reassuring. I find her very calming. She’s sincere and doesn’t push but just asks good questions that help you open up. Having never done counseling before she’s made the a very powerful and pleasant and encouraging experience. I feel very safe and able to be open. And Im a pretty lock tight person with most people. Thankful for Dr. Moritt's time and expertise so far.
