About Me

Welcome! I'm Nicole del Pilar Monta and I am honored to be a part of your journey. I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University, I then pursued my PhD through the Couple and Family Therapy program, also from Michigan State University. My faith has been a consistent fixture in my life, and finding strength, purpose, and guidance through Christ has been an evolution as it is for many of us. As a Faith-beased therapist I believe that through my unique skills and gifts as a healer I can be a support for individuals to reconnect with their strength in Christ when they feel lost, for couples during the most vulnerable times in their marriages to further God’s plan and design for marital love, and for the protection of families which are the foundation of His church. I am honored to walk with clients as they reflect on the unique mission and contribution that we each can play in furthering God’s divine plan, and continue in your process of growing in Christ as you face the struggles in your life. As a woman of color I understand the restorative power of having a safe space to process and cope with the challenges we face.

I invite you to come along this journey of self-healing and self-discovery.
