About Me
I am the founder and owner of PBMJ Consultants and Associates, L.L.C. located in Baltimore, Maryland and established in 2012. As a licensed clinician and board-certified supervisor; I believe a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy along with the use of wholistic supportive techniques will help clients become more aware of the impact challenges of life have on thoughts and behavior.
I completed my BS, MS and post graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University; and I am a public speaker and facilitator who cares and is willing to share how to attain a better way of life. I have traveled and trained nationally and internationally with a combination of over 20 years of professional, academic and personal experiences. During my years as a licensed practitioner and clinical supervisor, I counseled thousands of clients and trained hundreds of individuals in the counseling profession.
As a mental health provider I offer the following services: grief counseling, anger management, stress management; conflict resolution; gambling and substance dependence counseling; professional seminars and workshops.
I have counseled people from all walks of life and believe true healing begins – in spirit, mind and body - when change is made and a wholistic approach to life is experienced.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Pamela Byrd. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Pamela has a calming personality and often shares wise insight. However, she is not very responsive between sessions which could be quite discouraging at times. When she does reply, the responses do not really address the issue that was expressed, but rather are generic - not very helpful. Continuity with sessions would be helpful too; for instance, following up on where we left off during our last session would show more commitment to the client. It helps to know that my therapist truly cares for me and is tracking my progress.
Pamela is always compassionate and very helpful
I had such a great experience with Pamela. Her discernment is on point, and definitely great at counseling and helping to work through the tough issues. I listens well and asks the right questions.
Pamela has such a wealth of wisdom, knowledge, and compassion that makes you feel truly heard and safe from the very beginning. She has been a great comfort to me during a difficult time and I have appreciated her thoroughness in helping me acknowledge issues not just holistically but spiritually. God is doing wonderful things through her to help others.
Pamela is amazing!
Pam is caring, she listens to her clients, is very knowledgeable and resourceful. I have had many counselors but I rate her the highest of them all. I have finally found the right counselor for me.
