Once there was a man named Elijah who was one of God's biggest weapons on earth and yet he prayed to die.
Once there was a man named David who was beloved by God and yet wrote psalm after psalm in which he spoke of his fears, his breaking heart.
Once there was a man named Paul who heard God's voice calling to him and yet he proclaimed himself at one point, "afraid unto death".
Christians - even the strongest, even the closest to God - go through tribulations ("in this world you will have trouble"), experience despair, battle fear, and cry themselves to sleep at night. Even Christians sometimes need help finding happiness, standing strong, keeping worry an arm's length away. Even Christians sometimes need therapy.
For over a decade, I've been not only a counselor, but a certified Christian counselor (American Association for Christian Counselors). God has put me here for you - his children (which we all are) who are facing spiritual roadblocks. We can find scriptures that will help you. If you want to join with me in prayer, we can unite in prayer, knowing that where two are together, God is there with us. We can search out generational problems that may be blocking you. We can probe childhood issues that may be impeding your spiritual growth. We can draw parallels between your conception of your earthly father and your conception of your heavenly father - confused overlap that may be tripping you up. God has given us a wealth of resources and his unending love to help you past the depression, the anxiety, the worry, the fear. You be afraid unto death but that fear is not his will for you. Between you, me, and God, we'll get you the his peace that passes all understanding. Let's join hands and work together.

Pat is awesome! She gave me amazing guidance and tools that I will use for the rest of my life! Very understanding and never judgmental, but isn’t afraid to tell you what you need to hear.
I have truly enjoyed Ms. Pat. She has been a lifesaver at this time in my life. To have someone to talk to without judgement and give valuable advice is needed. I appreciate how considerate she is and how she affirms and acknowledge me as a person.
Ms. Patrice is a WONDERFUL counselor. She has already helped so much and I really believe God sent her to me. She is the best counselor I have ever had the privilege of speaking with and I would highly recommend her.
