About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with MA and EdS degrees in Counseling as well as an MBA. I am also certified as a NJ School Counselor and a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC). I have worked as a counselor, therapist, supervisor, and director for non-profit mental health agencies and I am also an EMT so I have a foundational medical background and familiarity with stressful situations. After graduating with a master's degree in counseling, I chose to pursue an MBA degree to gain professional business knowledge.

I have extensive experience working with individuals with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns. I also have experience working with families/couples for marriage and family therapy and relationship counseling and in addition, I have also worked with business professionals experiencing work-related stress and concerns.

I attended Catholic School my entire life and have actively participated with the church in faith ministry. I am very familiar with a variety of religions and feel comfortable integrating faith into the counseling setting and experience.

I have worked with teenagers, adults, couples, and families and strive to provide support and guidance to the individuals that I am assisting. I strive to help individuals feel empowered to make choices and decisions that they may be struggling with. Making the decision to contact a therapist can be difficult for some and my goal is to make the process as welcoming as possible. I present myself in a relaxed and informal manner that is collaborative in nature. You likely will find that therapy sessions with me most resemble a warm conversation in a soothing setting.

I look forward to helping you develop and achieve your goals and find the peace that you may be seeking!

Patti has helped me considerably on a previous problem and found her responsible and easy to speak to. Hopefully she can help me work through another issue.

Patti is amazing, it's as if she really gets me, what I am saying even when it doesn't make sense to me. She offers great advise and always has a way to bring me back on track. I'm glad that we were put together.

Patti has been thoughtful, concerned, and sensitive to my situation, and I appreciate her attention to my communications and situation.
