I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with MA and EdS degrees in Counseling as well as an MBA. I am also certified as a NJ School Counselor and a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (DRCC). I have worked as a counselor, therapist, supervisor, and director for non-profit mental health agencies and I am also an EMT so I have a foundational medical background and familiarity with stressful situations. After graduating with a master's degree in counseling, I chose to pursue an MBA degree to gain professional business knowledge.
I have extensive experience working with individuals with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns. I also have experience working with families/couples for marriage and family therapy and relationship counseling and in addition, I have also worked with business professionals experiencing work-related stress and concerns.
I attended Catholic School my entire life and have actively participated with the church in faith ministry. I am very familiar with a variety of religions and feel comfortable integrating faith into the counseling setting and experience.
I have worked with teenagers, adults, couples, and families and strive to provide support and guidance to the individuals that I am assisting. I strive to help individuals feel empowered to make choices and decisions that they may be struggling with. Making the decision to contact a therapist can be difficult for some and my goal is to make the process as welcoming as possible. I present myself in a relaxed and informal manner that is collaborative in nature. You likely will find that therapy sessions with me most resemble a warm conversation in a soothing setting.
I look forward to helping you develop and achieve your goals and find the peace that you may be seeking!
