About me

Hi, I am a counselor that comes from a background in schools. I enjoy all kinds of counseling but work currently in addiction counseling. I am an older counselor that still connects with younger people. I enjoy this work and have experience in several modalities and have approaches that are typically client centered. I serve each client as an individual and seek first to understand, then to apply what I see, as you direct. I am first a listener and then my training in several effective therapy styles such as Cognitive Behavioral, and Family Systems apply to you as your needs direct. I am a trained EMDR therapist and enjoy the quick progress that this approach secures in most clients. I am well versed in brain science and direct my approach to healing the reason that brought on the present dysfunctional behavior or feeling that you want to eliminate.
Thank you for reading this and I hope we can work together for the solution that you want to experience.
You are the most important person in the room, and I am happy to work to be a part of the puzzle piece that you have been searching for, for so long.
Blessings,
Philip

Therapy with Philip has been very successful for me so far. I feel his professionalism and listening skills are superior to the therapists I have worked with. His method of being supportive has helped me make great progress through a job change, a divorce, and the loss of my father. I would recommend Philip to anyone looking for an excellent skillful therapist.

He is great at listening. He offers great content and good advice/recommendations. I am glad that I have a wiser therapist to talk through things.
