I received my Masters in Counseling from Columbia International University in South Carolina. I purposefully chose this school because I wanted to learn from a Christian perspective how the "Wonderful Counselor" guides us to care for ourselves and others. In our counseling sessions I will maintain a Christ centered approach in addressing the concerns that you share. Please let me know if you desire integrating our faith any more or less from one session to the next.
Although I have experience and training working with addictions, I have not been specifically trained to work with Sexual or Pornography Addictions. If this is a concern I would encourage you to look to a counselor overtly qualified in these areas. If you are unable to make it to an appointment please give me 24 hours notice along with a date and time you wish to schedule our next meeting. I am available Monday through Wednesday for meetings. I am seldom available for meetings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Man was created in the image of God, “male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). This image includes many of His attributes. He created us to live in community just as He does: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Community is therefore a core need of human existence. At times every Christian is bound to feel overwhelmed by the challenges of this world. While seeking God's Will, you may feel that you come up short. Gathering with another as you seek God's will often promotes more clarity; as it states in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
I look forward to joining your story.

Rachael is very caring and professional. I felt immediately at ease talking with her and she has helped me so much in the short time we've been working together.
