You are courageous for taking this step towards healing. As Christians, we often lose our path when trials enter our life. Whether it be the loss of a loved one, life style, or faith challenges, I am here to guide you. My counseling approach is based on Christ's principles as he taught his disciples. I have practiced as a License Professional Counselor for 18 years helping people overcome addictions, grief, depression, anxiety, and stress from life changes. God's desire is for each of his children to have joy and life more abundantly. In John 10:10 (KJV) we are told by Jesus Christ "The thief cometh not, but to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy." (NIV John 16:22) It may be difficult now to see a future with joy present. As we look at your life events, how they have impacted your moods and walk with Christ, I will help restore your faith in the One who created you and help you discover the purpose He has for your life.

Please note, the one area I am not trained in is trauma. As I am not trained in this area, my licenses prevent me from working with anyone who has had a traumatic experience, even if it is not the reason you are currently seeking therapy. Thank you for your understanding in this.

Rachel is great and listens well. I would just prefer if there was some sort of take home reflection or suggestions she implicated in her style. Overall, she does a good job.
