About Me
My faith is important to me, and I feel that we can find healing through therapy as well as our faith. I work with clients to help them through struggles in life with a faith based approach. I believe in a person-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are in life to help them through.
I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a second Master's Degree in K-8 Education. Through my career to this point I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Mediation, Thinking for Change, and Clinical Hypnosis. In session I also use techniques ranging from CBT, Adlerian psychology, as well as . My experience has often involved individuals struggling with severe mental illness, substance use/alcohol use disorders, trauma, PTSD, and domestic violence. I have also done work with individuals working on parenting skills for typically developing children as well as those with developmental/intellectual delays.
