Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. I have worked with children, couples, families, and adults for 29 years, and feel I am fulfilling a calling! I have a great deal of experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, surviving childhood trauma, drug and alcohol counseling, and marriage counseling. In addition to working with BetterHelp, I have my own private practice, Cornerstone Counseling, Coaching, & Consulting, where I specialize in children and families involved in the foster care system. I have worked within the public school setting, contracted with the Department of Defense, and work with children and families within residential settings. I also teach for a local college, training students to become drug and alcohol counselors. I have a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling and another Doctorate in Strategic Leadership - Leadership Coaching, and always feel there is more to learn!
I believe effective change comes through relationships, so first and foremost I want to establish a comfortable therapeutic relationship with you, ensuring that we also invite Jesus to join us every step of the way. From there, we will establish goals and objectives, setting up a road map so you will see where you're going and celebrate each step of the way. I will meet you where you are at, and listen compassionately and non-judgmentally in order to support you on your journey. My counseling style is based in the cognitive-behavioral approach, augmented by trauma informed care, solution-focused practices, and prayer. No matter what your goals are, you are in the driver's seat because I believe you have everything within you to make wanted changes or handle difficult situations. There's just those times when having someone objective to listen, help, and support will make the difference you need.
I'm so glad you've taken this first step toward completing your journey, and I look forward to working with you!

Dr. Beauregard has been very attentive and patient. She doesn’t push but encourages. I look forward to her responses and suggestions. I feel more capable because of our time together.
Dr Beauregard is attentive and responsive to my needs. When she doesn’t feel like she has enough understanding she seeks out learning and gets advise in order to make sure that she is sharing pertinent information to me for emotional and mental wellness.
