About me
Life is full of challenges. The world tells us on a daily basis that fighting for our personal interests and “getting ours” is the name of the game. It can sometimes seem like a brutal and heartless existence.
People of faith, however, understand that there is more at stake than the mortgage and the car payment in how we treat others and how we treat ourselves. Drawing on this faith can be a powerful tool in resolving conflicts and clarifying goals that can so often be obscured by the world.
I look forward to helping you achieve your goals as they relate to your relationship with God.
I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Nebraska. Since 2005, I have provided therapeutic services to individuals, families and groups from age 1 to 89.
While some people believe that counseling and therapy are for people with problems, I have come to believe that these services are for people that have goals and I have worked with thousands of people in the identification and attainment of personal, relational, vocational and spiritual goals.
With undergraduate and graduate training in philosophy, psychology, religion and linguistics, my approach involves helping others find meaning in life and resolution of their situational concerns.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ryan Suhr. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Ryan is kind, to-the-point, and incredibly insightful. Cannot recommend enough!
Ryan understands that mental health is also spiritual health, and that humans need true meaning in their lives—and not just the cheap meaning we attach to our successes. I'm talking joy, love, virtue and goodness. Thanks Ryan!
Ryan is so insightful and responsive, he is able to understand my struggles and suggest ideas that are totally helpful.
Ryan has been so helpful to be an outside voice to help me process lots of areas of my life. I feel lighter after every session yet I come away understanding myself deeper. Ryan always listening and offers a helpful alternative perspective. Best decision I’ve made this year getting therapy.
