Dr. Scott Lovaas

(M.Div, LCSW, PhD)

About Me

Peace. As an ordained minister within the United Church of Christ, a progressive mainline denomination, I have provided pastoral support to many people and families over the years. I have served in 10 churches across the country as a minister and I also was a missionary in South Africa for four years after Apartheid.

Our understanding of the world, faith and language is ever expanding and changing as we learn and experience more. Faith provides a view and a language that is unique and as a minister and LCSW social worker I bring together these two worlds.

Scott has been super helpful for helping me process life. He has been a blessing to be ministered by and just what I needed in a counselor during this current season.

Dr. Lovaas is very caring, easy to talk to, and provides a great perspective to help you see your circumstances in a different light. He also has a lot of suggestions to help you grow as an individual. I highly recommend him as a counselor.
