About me

I grew up thinking Church was a thief of my time to sleep and play. My grandmother was a loving and Godly woman, and when visiting, she made sure I bathed and wore uncomfortable clothes that aren't for play. it wasn't for me at that time. My family moved to another state. Sunday may be for sleeping in, football, or chores. Around 20 years old, I met a young lady that was attractive because she loved Jesus. We argued. I was going to save her from organized religion and help her be a good atheist or agnostic. I agreed to read the entire Bible, mostly to pick it apart. It did not work out that way. I found Jesus. I was saved. It didn't work out for me and the young lady, but I've walked with Jesus since that time. Fun fact around my day of baptism. It happened right after the San Francisco 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys with "The Catch" by Dwight Clark (January 10, 1982). Up to now, Biblical truths have guided my practice, but the rules of regulators make it so that Christian therapists are walking on thin ice if they discuss faith. Here, it should not be a problem.
