Shannon Williams MSP LPC
Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor with practice experience in multiple settings. He has extensive experience with multiple age groups, genders and nationalities. Shannon maintains critical and creative thinking skills essential to counseling and therapy. He is inventive in the implementation of new ideas and or initiatives, with a focus on client interaction. Shannon has worked in a Private Practice, A drug addiction and mental health hospital, a liaison Therapist for DJJ and DFACS, a home for troubled youth, and as a Church youth counselor. He has extensive experience with the elementary, teen, adult, elderly, disabled, and substance abuse populations. Shannon is a strong communicator, listener and motivator. Shannon considers helping others his “passion and gift”.
In his spare time Shannon enjoys exercise and is an avid reader and writer with his motivational blog site, and he is a published Author with one published book, “The Storms of Life: Butterflies in Tornadoes, Roses in Hurricanes” - Westbowpress2011., and has 2 books pending publication.
