I am Sharon, I am Black, and I am a follower of the ways of Jesus. I believe in living in love, righteousness, peace, joy and justice for all human beings created in the image of God. I have been in the ministry for 30 years. I have served as a Pastor for 10 years. I was nurtured in a multi-cultural ministry that taught me the love for all people, but stand for justice for the oppressed. I have been able to help individuals, and families to utilize their faith to support their therapeutic and healing goals. I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Approach to treatment that is aligned with the teachings of Romans, chapter twelve, verses one and two, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” You, I believe already know how special you are to the Creator of the Universe. However, at times you know that those who follow the ways of Jesus will have challenges to face, but it is staying in alignment with your faith that gives you the ability to overcome. I am here to help you to overcome. I look forward to siting down at the winning table with you.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Rev. Sharon Cheek. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Mrs. Cheek, thank you so much. I was coming to do the therapy, but I was texting it because I never believed in therapy. I am from Africa, but you proved me wrong. I already have two more people to join therapy after they hear and see my outcome. Now I have confidence, and I don't blame myself for the divorce. After you explain to me, I feel like a huge weight taken out of my shoulder. Thank you!
Rev. Cheek’s demeanor is calming and warm. She listens carefully to what you’re saying and gives you solid and simple guidance related to your conversation without force. Her responses helps you to think about how you can do better with your situation along with the tools she’s gives you to use.
Incredibly kind and supportive. A very calming presence with so much wisdom.
