About Me

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. I am honored to be part of Faithful Counseling. My name is Sheri Warden-Harmon and I am licensed in the state of South Carolina as a LPC. The unique training and experience I received includes the integration of spirituality/religion and psychology. I graduated from a Christian University, provided church based counseling and served as a pastor's wife in a church for six years. Sometimes we question why God allows our suffering, why God places us in trials, and how we heal spiritual wounds or grow our relationship with God.

Over the past 10 years, I have gained experience in several different fields of counseling. I am a proponent of existential, family therapy, person-centered, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy methodologies. We will be able to tailor an individualized approach that works for you! I am ready to guide you in developing evidence-based skills and techniques to process traumatic experiences, strengthen and build coping skills, foster personal growth, and gain sustainable healthy relationships. At times individuals just need a safe emotional release and I can provide that for you as well. I am here to listen and provide support for you while incorporating your faith into our work together.

I was inspired to work in the field following my own journey with struggles, grief and healing, and I believe this has improved my therapeutic skills as a result. I believe the best counselors have also received counseling, and I have participated in counseling through the years. Counseling is a great way to promote self care and growth! This becomes especially important with most clients, as they seek someone who can relate to and understand certain struggles from their own experiences. You are not alone and we can do this together! I support clients in building positive communication, fostering meaningful relationships, practicing appropriate social skills, utilizing healthy coping strategies, and establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries within a culturally sensitive approach in order to generate lasting interpersonal change and healthy relationships.

I treat everyone with respect and warmth. I work to ensure that our sessions will be tailored to your needs and goals. I’m available for online therapy sessions. You are not alone and we can do this together!
