About me
When I finally said yes to the Lord I was 33 years old,. It was quite traumatic, and then He led me to the Fort Wayne Bible College. I developed a real passion to help people find their way out of the stuck places of life. I went to a Christian College and graduated with their Christian Counseling Degree, minoring in Theology. I have been practicing faith counseling for 42 almost 43 years. I teach small groups, I mentor teens, I mentor adults. In addition to that I participate in a Prayer Team Group that teaches people about Spiritual Warfare Techniques. I wrote a book called "Fretting, Fussing, Stewing and Steering". (Letting go of things that pull us down). And, then Fix Your Future so it does not Reflect Your Past (Embracing Emotional Forgiveness).

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Shirley Souder. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Every session feels like I am gaining the insight and direction from someone who is not only a complete, knowledgeable professional, but someone who is like family! I highly recommend Shirley because she cares about her clients and provides a clear understanding of the reasoning behind the habits and thought processes I need to improve upon.
My counselors very well knowledge and I love that she does it in a godly way in a Christian perspective and from the Bible thank God for putting this counselor in my life
