I am a mental health counselor licensed in the state of Indiana with years’ of experience working as a psychotherapist and pastoral care counselor. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including depression, relationship issues, men’s issues including sex and porn addiction, sleep issues, life changes, and life crisis and religious/spiritual abuse. I have experience with divorce recovery and career exploration, and I’ve helped people who have experienced emotional and psychological trauma and abuse. I am faith-based and a strong believer in the power of prayer, and incorporating the use of scripture as part of your treatment plan.
My therapy style is warm, inviting, listening, and empowering the client to make decisions.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion. I am powerfully positive, but empathic to those who are not.
My approach combines narrative with psychodynamic therapy, empty chair, healing prayer therapy, and applying the scriptures. I will adapt our dialog and treatment plan to meet your specific needs. If you are seeking a fulfilling life but have lost your way or need a tune-up, I’m here to support and empower you.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Rev. Skip Beyer. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Rev. Beyer is God-sent. So thankful that he works for Faithful Counseling! I'm new to therapy all together and didn't know what to expect. I would have done this a lot sooner and will definitely recommend to at least 3 friends of mine. 5 STARS!
Reverend Beyer was my therapist for a short term counseling need. He shared great biblical wisdom with me and brought me and my marriage to a better place. He was able to connect me to other resources that were helpful in my recovery process. I valued our sessions and the insight he provided me. I was blessed to have worked with Skip through my time with FaithfulCounseling!
I believe Rev. Skip Beyer is a God-send, someone especially designed to address the particular areas of concern that have troubled me over the years. He listens, offers real guidance that is compatible with Jesus and the scriptures, situations which used to trouble me have been correctly discerned and targeted by him, and he has been gracious to me.
