Thank you for taking the first step toward your healing journey! My name is Stacy Hixon, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I am only licensed to counsel current residents of Texas. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Letourneau University, a Christian university. I am passionate about the preservation of marriage and cohesion of family. I have personal experience, and enjoy working in areas of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, communication, conflict resolution, coping skills, setting boundaries and finding balance in one’s life. I am adept at integrating Christian and Biblical principles into the therapeutic alliance.
From the age of 11 years old, at my first visit to my own counselor, I have felt a calling to counsel, educate, and advocate in the field of mental health. My goal is to create a therapeutic alliance with my client(s) for your unique needs. I join empathy, understanding, and a willingness to collaborate with all clients toward a positive and successful outcome. I enjoy walking along side my client(s) on their unique path to assist in offering guidance and skills along the way. I offer nonjudgmental support and encourage you to feel empowered to make changes in your life for wellness and better mental health. I have worked collaboratively with many clients toward a successful end goal.
My personal experience as the wife of a law enforcement officer and Navy veteran, a mother, stepmother, and child of divorce allows me a personal insight when working with law enforcement officers, their families, military families, blended families, contentious divorce situations, co-parenting, and stalking.
I look forward to our journey together!

Stacey has been wonderful. She is a fantastic listener and has a wealth of knowledge regarding mental health. She always provides applicable resources and never shies away from the tough topics. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a counselor.
Stacy is so encouraging and uplifting. She’s walked me through hard stuff in a very professional but also like a close friend way.
Stacy has been so helpful for me during this season. She has given me insight and the support I need. After each session, I walk away more confident in myself and safe to express how I feel.
Stacy is a great counselor, I was in a really bad stage in my life and she has helped me get through difficult times. She gave me the necessary tools to face my struggles and thank her for that.
