About me
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. I have more than 20 years experience counseling individuals, couples and families. I received Jesus as my savior over 25 years ago. I didn't realize then that I would come to enjoy listening to others and that God would lead me to become a counselor so that I could fulfill His purpose! John 16:33b says "In this world, ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. God never promised a pain free life and as long as we are on the earth we will experience painful situations. But with God, nothing is impossible. I believe that God has called me to help those who need to work through their difficulties in life.
My approach is one that experts might call cognitive/behavioral, but in essence, it's actually this: how we think directly impacts our behaviors. Therefore if we think the way God wants us to think, we are sure to change the way we behave. In listening to you, I believe that the Holy Spirit directs me as the word of God is life to me. I incorporate the scriptures and God's love into every counseling session.
I am glad that you got the courage to seek help as sometimes asking for help can be very scary. I don't believe it's an accident that you ended up getting me as your counselor and I look forward to working with you.

If someone going through a difficult time would only by God's grace stop believing the lies the enemies tells us and be reminded who we are in Christ and how God sees us it will surely free us from bondage. The root is the lies we believe and the only solution is to remove that lie. And it will solve all the problems in the world. I think.
