About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania who has 12 years of experience providing therapeutic care to a wide variety of populations and individuals seeking help for symptoms of anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, grief and loss, anxiety, and other mental health issues. I received my Maser’s of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and I have over 3 years of experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with clients.

I am a very client-centered therapist and use an integrative approach while using evidence-based practices when treating individuals. For example, I use therapeutic interventions from an eclectic range of therapies such as cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and solution-focused. I do believe that helping to heal the whole uniqueness of the person – the mind, body, and spirit – will lead to a positive and more fulfilling lifestyle, as well as healthy growth and self-awareness.

I aim to develop a collaborative, warm, and safe space for you to feel comfortable in helping you to develop and complete the goals that you seek to accomplish throughout the course of treatment.

Stephanie is an amazing person to talk to. When I need to be challenged, she doesn’t tell me what I want to hear, but rather what I need to hear, and when the time is right, she nudges me in the right direction. That kind of challenge is what I need in therapy. Her timing is always impeccable. Not to mention, she’s also the only person I’ve ever talked to who understands my chronic condition and it’s amazing to talk to somebody who actually gets it. I always feel validated and supported through Stephanie. She is awesome and amazing!!!

Stephanie is an amazing person and therapist. She is so warm and understanding, never judging any thing negatively. She is really effective at helping to explain and understand the “why” of what we do. I randomly decided to start therapy again recently and so glad I did because I have really benefited from having her to talk to during a challenging time of my life.
