Hello, my name is Stephanie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have been providing personalized counseling to individuals (adults, teens, and children) and families for 5 years. I have worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment problems, anger, relationship issues and low self-esteem. I have also counseled individuals who have experienced different types of abuse.
My counseling style is warm, genuine and free from judgment. I believe in treating everyone with respect, compassion and sensitivity. My approach is eclectic which is using different types of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and solution-focused counseling. I believe in the healing power of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and through an intimate relationship with Him and discovering our identity in Him opens the door for God to move mountains. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ for 13 years and have personally experienced his healing power during a difficult season in my life. I am here to provide you with biblical guidance and a safe and supportive environment. I also strive to have a collaborative approach with my clients in which we are interactive on the treatment goals.
It takes courage to seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am passionate about helping those who are hurting to find healing, peace, joy and freedom. If you are ready for change I am here to empower, support and walk alongside you.
I look forward to meeting and working with you!

Very understanding of what I am facing and very helpful.
Stephanie helped me through some challenging times and I appreciate her support and her mentoring me, but this has been a year long process. It takes time, patience, and hard work to do things out of your comfort zone and to see improvements that have been made very gradually. There is no quick fix to anything that difficult to come out of, and even spiritual oppression takes time -for mistakes are easily made but we have to earn our way out of it through the fight of prayer to the only one who can pull us out of it: Jesus. Also have to take advice well and listen from an outside perspective bc we dont know everything. I have made myself a better me but not by myself but through the guidance of my coucelor. I truely appreciate this site and I appreciate Stephanie. I truely thank all for my better place.
