About me
Hello, and thank you for considering my assistance through this journey you are currently on. My journey has taken me from business, to education, and to counseling, with many life experiences. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in AZ with 22 years in a wide gamut of counseling experience in various counseling settings, with focus including Marriage and Family, conflict resolution, crisis prevention, general anxiety and depression and more. I have worked in community mental health clinics, including those faith based, on mobile crisis teams, and in private practice with a focus on Marriage and Family. I have also spent many years as a therapist in the mental health unit of the county jail, assisting many individuals who were at the lowest point in their lives struggling to find hope.
You will find that I am very easy to talk to, very non-judgmental, and yet I call it as I see it. I am rather eclectic in my approach (with an emphasis using CBT/REBT, Reality Therapy, and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy), and I emphasis the value and power of positive energy in change. I absolutely know the power of the Almighty, and of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in assisting us to bring positive, lasting change to our lives, and of His power to heal our wounds. I absolutely know that miracles can happen as I have witnessed many in my own life.
