About me

Hi, my name is Tanya Vincent I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from Louisiana State University and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have a wide range of experience of working with youth, family, couples, and individuals of all ages. Some issues I have served are Anxiety/Panic, Bipolar Disorder, Blended Family, Career Counseling, Couples Intensive, Depression, Divorce, Infidelity, Marital/Premarital, Miscarriages, and I am currently working on specializing in Sports Psychology (Mental Coaching).
I believe in meeting my clients where they are and using a collaborative style of counseling. My counseling style is client-centered and I use motivational interviewing, strengths-based, and solution-focused counseling methods to achieve the best outcome for clients. I use homework assignments and weekly check-ins to make sure that counseling is moving in the right direction for my client. I put counseling into action by going the extra mile to make sure my client’s health is taken care of in all aspects: mentally, emotionally, and socially.
I look forward to meeting with you!!
