I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Rutgers University, a Master's degree in Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma, and All But Dissertation towards a Doctorate in Education in Counseling Psychology & Guidance at Rutgers University. I am a licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Florida, and have over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health.
The most important part of therapy is the relationship and I work hard to build a bond where my clients feel heard, understood, and cared about. My mother instilled in me a powerful spiritual base; this has helped me to get through difficult times and has helped me to help others. I recognize that you are trusting and sharing with me parts of your personal life. I believe that my clients would tell you that some of my strengths are my listening skills, and my focus on having you feel empowered.
