Tracey Bratton

About Me

Hi there! I’m Tracey. Thanks for dropping by to get to know me a little. First and foremost, I am a Christian. I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years. I went back to school after my youngest child graduated high school. I have both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in social work. I also have a Master’s certificate in gerontology and am a trauma-focused parent/caregiver educator. I’ve been working as a therapist for 6 years. I work with all ages over seven years old.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and eclectic. This means your treatment is individualized for you drawing from different theoretical models. I’m a trauma-informed therapist, which means that if you’re dealing with trauma, I can help you work through it. I have experience working with people who have been challenged with depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, life imbalance, parenting and work/career issues, compassion fatigue, and more. I know you're the expert on you. You know yourself better than anyone. I love the fact that we can use your spiritual strengths, and build on them, to help you overcome your challenges.

Reaching out for help can be difficult for anyone, but it seems you've made the first step. Please know you're not on this journey alone. I will travel alongside you as you search, internally and externally, and find solutions to your challenges. My role in this partnership is being your collaborator, as you discover and utilize your strengths to make your life better -whatever that is to you. Now, let's get you started on your journey from survivor to thriver!

p.s. Here’s a little about me as a person.

Movie - hmmm… there are so many!
Pastime - family time
Holiday - all!
Guilty pleasure -right now, it’s Junkin' (thrifting old things and re-purposing them) reduce, reuse, recycle, repeat
