I have experience working with those who have Mental Health issues as well ass Substance Use Disorders and have worked with military personnel, those living with HIV/AIDS, the incarcerated, and in Private Practice. I use a strength based, client-centered approach with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; yet draw from an eclectic approach, to assist the client make therapeutic gains. I utilize my Spirituality and Christian belief implementing the tenets of faith, hope, and love to strengthen confidence, self-worth, and maintain recovery in one's mental, physical, social, and emotional health.
I believe that according to Philippians 4:13 "I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Gives Us The Strength." With the assistance of a Power greater than ourselves we are able to overcome and to conquer anything in this present world.

Trinas words and counsel are so timely. Just knowing she's there to help makes all the difference.
Trina is the consummate professional. She is an empathetic, active listener who suggests great strategies to assist me with addressing concerns that arise. As a follower of Christ, I am thankful that she incorporates Biblical principles into our sessions. I am comforted by the fact that she understands my needs and provides me with short exercises (questionnaires) that assist me with processing my emotions/maladaptive habits and developing appropriate replacement behaviors. I am very satisfied with this service.
