I love what I do still after 22 years. I have extensive experience in Christian Counseling, Blended Families, Couples, Addiction, PTSD, Trauma, Sex-Offenders, and Obsessive-Compulsive behaviors. I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from ages 7 to 89. I have worked with juveniles in a residential facility, military families on an army base, couples and individuals through my church, and at addiction and a mental health facility. I am independently licensed in 3 different states as an LMFT and independently licensed in 2 states as an Addiction Counselor. I believe everyone has a "gift," something that they are called to do and Counseling is mine. I care about my clients and have the innate ability to "zone" in what is going on with them. I use Emotional Focus Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma-Informed, Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but it really depends on the clients I am seeing.
Personally, I am a wife who has been married for 39 years with 8 children and 23 grandchildren. I believe that it takes 3 to make a marriage, Husband, Wife, and God. I have always said that my husband is the head of my home, but I am the heart. I work full time at a mental health facility, but I have some mornings and evenings available for my Betterhelp clients. My goal is to help my clients reach their goals. I find joy and satisfaction when I see them achieve what they are searching for. I offer a safe environment, honesty, understanding, and respect by incorporating biblical principles.
I admire anyone who wants to make a change and is willing to reach out and ask for help. I am here for you if you are that person.

Sessions with Victoria are like checking in with a friend and fellow mom on the crazy journey we call parenthood. I am dealing with a situation that feels absolutely hopeless and had left me feeling helpless. After talking to Victoria, I feel encouraged, renewed, and empowered to find hope. By suggesting tangible tasks and actions I can focus on daily, I no longer feel stuck, even though my circumstances have not changed. Adding Victoria to my life has been an answer to prayer in so many ways , not just for me, but for my whole family.
