With over 20 years in this field, 16 in direct counseling service, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life. My passion, however, has always been working with folks who believe God plays a huge role in their lives, regardless of where they are in their walk with Him.
We are human, divinely made, but human none the less. We make mistakes, we fight fear and temptation, give in to pressure, and sometimes even question what we believe, or rather, what we are told to believe. It isn't easy being Christian in a world such as ours, though I doubt it has ever been truly EASY. We have challenges, trials, tribulations, much like those before us, and yet, I think there is something original, or different, about what we face today.
My job is to help you along your path of life, wherever you find yourself and I believe I am called to this work. Having said that, I have extensive training in a myriad of secular and traditional therapy approaches, as well as some newer and more experiential treatment approaches, but I never work alone. It takes great strength to reach out, and so I commend you in that, now let me help you in the next step.

I have been working with Amy for over a year and a half now and I am a completely different person from when we started. She has helped me in ways I didn't know I needed help, never made me feel like a burden, and genuinely cares. She exposed me to EMDR and was always willing to tackle a new problem. I recently moved states and am so sad we can no longer work together because she goes above and beyond in every sense.
Amy has been an amazing counselor and confidant. She has shown great empathy in very challenging situations and helped me become a better person. She is consistent, available, and always willing to go the extra mile if needed. Her meticulous attention to detail allows her to gain a depth of understanding beyond what many other counselors have gained. I would recommend her to anyone who needs support for their lifestyle.
Amy Faust is the reason I decided to return to Faithful Counseling. When I first started, I wasn't sure it was for me. But after texting Amy, so much that I thought I would overwhelm her and she would never text back, I found out that she was very kind, caring, listening, understanding and patient. I am grateful that there is someone there, like Amy, whenever I need them.
I've got experience with a few different counselors but this was my first online experience. I have to say, Amy Faust was one of the most beneficial counselors I have ever experienced. I felt like she was a great objective sounding board and it was such a relief to have someone who could back up the advice I was receiving with scripture. I feel so blessed to have found this site and especially Amy Faust. Thank you so much.
I am so appreciative of my counselor. She is able to relate to me with her own life and is open to sharing. She listens and guides me to the correct positive thoughts. I am a work in progress, but I now have the confidence to succeed that I did not have before! Thank you!
Couldn’t be any better!
Amy is awesome. She has done so much for me in a very short period of time and I couldn’t be any more happier. If I ever come back, I would definitely request for her for assistance again.
Amy listens, supports, and relates to me in a way that no one else in my life. She is helpful and provides so much guidance as I work through my issues and celebrates in my victories and sympathizes in my struggles. She has helped me change my life for the better.
Just started out, all in all seems like it’s going to be a good thing.
Amy is a skilled, insightful and caring therapist. She has a gift for counseling that comes from within as well as beyond herself. Her expression of that gift, combined with her expertise, has been a source of great healing and personal, as well as spiritual, growth for me, as I know it is for others as well. Thank you, Amy.
Amy is a fantastic counselor: knowledgeable, caring, and engaged. I am so thankful that I found her and Faithful Counseling!
Amy has been great! I feel like I am whole new person, I have my life back, I've been able to look at things in a whole new way and really work through my past and be encouraged that my past dies not define me. Amy has been a great encouragement, there when I've needed her, and was willing to push me to the next step. Without her I would not be where I am now!
