I am Amy Hunnicutt. I received my training as a licensed counselor at a Seminary. This gives me unique qualifications to aid in exploring spiritual and faith issues that a person experiences on their faith journey in a non judgmental safe space in which you are free to ask and think through the "hard questions". I've had them myself!

I really like Amy! I've used BetterHelp before in the past and it is a very great platform, but I switched to Amy as my therapist through their "FaithfulCounseling" portal. My previous counselor wasn't religious or practicing faith anymore and he made his cynicism towards faith and spirituality known in a way that I didn't appreciate. It made it tough to feel safe to fully open for fear of being judged.
Amy doesn't do this. She is supportive, understanding, and respectful of how my faith is important to me as we work together to make changes in my lifestyle to meet my goals and we don't have to get too deep into our beliefs especially if they might differ. I really don't know much about her faith background and that's okay! She respects what I believe and how I practice my faith with sincerity and is even able to explore that with me in relation to my life challenges and that has made all of the difference. Amy is very good at what she does.
