About me
I am a licensed therapist with fifteen years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, from those going through significant life changes to those healing from traumatic experiences. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2011 with a Master's in Counseling, and from UW-Madison in 2018 with an additional specialty in Infant, Child, and Family Counseling.
It's important to understand what’s happening before setting any intentions for action, so the first few times we meet, the focus will be on your life history and how you have been impacted by what has happened to you. We will work together to figure out how you can get to where you’d like to be.
If this sounds like what you are looking for, then I look forward to working with you! I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about my approach, or the counseling process in general. :)
I have additional education and experience in the following:
Meditation and Mindfulness
Yoga (Registered Teacher at 200-Hour Level) and Somatic Experiencing
Nutrition for Mental Health
